Mzontsundu FM – Your station of rest – Isikhulo sakho Sokuphumla’s mandate is to empower, entertain and bring life to the people of Ntabankulu community and beyond. This is the station for everyone where you feel free to rest enjoy the great sound of local, national and international music by local people. Take us where ever you go, we a digital station with no limits and boundaries only on the palm of your hand..
Mzontsundu is situated in a small village called Chibini Location in Ntabankulu Local Municipality under Alfred Nzo District Municipality, according to government demarcation in the Eastern Cape. Chibini Location is surrounded by many villages that are under uMzimvubu Municipality, uMhlontlo Municipality and Ntabankulu Municipality. The majority of the residents around are mine workers while others are former mine workers who now survive through social grant and informal farming. The community around contributes immensely to the high rate of unemployment in South Africa. Mzontsundu FM will try to meet halfway our government by providing information to young people. As the young people came together to establish the radio station that will assist not only young but also share other important information to elderly people.
